Things the Eye Can't See

Lois is a fifteen-year-old girl with a visual impairment. She loves art and photography and enjoys going out and taking photographs with her camera in the company of her guide dog Samson. One day, while taking photographs on a quiet path on her way home from school, Lois comes across Telor, a boy who used to be in her class, but who nobody has seen for six months. Telor pleads with her to do him a favour – to take a confidential letter to his friend Kyle – and then departs abruptly. This encounter changes Lois’s life completely, as she and Kyle try to find Telor and solve the mystery of his disappearance. It becomes clear that Telor is in big trouble, and Lois, Kyle and Samson are soon confronted by a dangerous, violent and terrifying underworld as they learn that Telor is being used by a county lines drugs gang.
