The Street Food Festival

The story is about ten children who are Welsh but also come from different cultural backgrounds. They belong to an afterschool gardening club, which is held in a beautiful Victorian walled garden, of which there are many examples in Wales. This story is about how people can make a huge difference and achieve great things every day, if they work together. It’s also about how the differences that we see between people, like straight or curly hair, black hair or blonde, brown eyes or blue, are all superficial. At the end of the day, people are people all over the world, and every single person needs to eat to survive. Our food may look different but it performs the same function. Some of the food that is not native to our own cultures might become firm favourites if we gave them a chance and tried them.
