Eyes That Kiss in the Corners

This is a story about a girl celebrating and being proud of her Taiwanese appearance and identity. The girl notices that her eyes look different from those of her peers, and she celebrates the features she has inherited. She reflects on the beauty of her eyes, which are similar to those of her mother, grandmother (amah) and little sister. The story explores how her eyes connect her to her family, culture and heritage.
